Extra Feb Blog post

Aside from the fact that it is the shortest month of the year, February passed by really fast. I was busy every single day with school work, mentorship, and college work. I had very few breathers that fortunately helped me survive the monstrous wave of work I had. I unfortunately had to be at a very sad ceremony that made me loose a bit of focus around mid February. But my huge effort to try to make it not affect me mentally helped me a lot. With so many things on my plate, I must admit, was stressed out for a large portion of the month. Working many late nights to make sure I did not miss a deadline was worth the while because it allows me get the job done.
Now I am ready for more work and am excited for the upcoming month. I am looking forward to this month which is one of my favorite months of the year and am ready to get out to the battlefield.

1.  What is your EQ?
How best can an entrepreneur turn his startup into a viable company?2.  What is your first answer? (In complete thesis statement format)
An entrepreneur can best turn his startup into a viable company by following and implementing the customer development process.3.  What is your second answer? (In complete thesis statement format)
An entrepreneur can best turn his start up into a viable company my following and implementing the business model canvas.4.  List three reasons your answer is true with a real-world application for each.
-Large successful companies use the business model canvas.
-Google, Netflix and Lego are a few examples of those who use the business model canvas.
-The business model canvas covers ever aspect a startup needs to consider.
For example the bmc allows you to analyze and figure out who your target audience for your product or service.
-It is okay to mess up when creating  a business model canvas.
- Google has a 3in stack of business model canvases that they contemplate because they know all those wrong hypothesis lead to the right one they use today.
5.  What printed source best supports your answer?
The business model generation book best supports my answer because it analyzes every section that is in the business model canvas.6.  What other source supports your answer?
I took an entrepreneurahip class where we spent the vast majority of class analysing the business model canvas.
7.  Tie this together with a  concluding thought.
After a few months of research I found out that proper planning is one of the most if not the most important thing to do when launching a start up.

On Friday, 2/20 for Advisory #2, you will be presenting what you have from this blog.  The presentation is more like a share-out and should not last longer than 2 minutes. You don't need a visual, and you should not read what you have written.

Independent Component 2 Approval

1.  Describe in detail what you plan to do for your 30 hours.

For my 30 hours I will be launching my Startup. There are many products and services I can choose from, therefore, I will be launching an eCommerce website.

2.  Discuss how or what you will do to meet the expectation of showing 30 hours of evidence.

I will have proof all of the work that will be done. I will prove my work by showing and describing every step of the way. Most importantly I will show all of my progress when the component is due.

3.  Explain how this component will help you explore your topic in more depth.

I will learn first hand if my assumptions of how to launch a Startup are true or false. I will also experience first hand all of the things an Entrepreneur lives when launching an Startup.

4.  Post a log in your Senior Project Hours link and label it "Independent Component 2" log.

Extra Post

January was quite the ride. I was under lots of stress and pressure because of inconveniences that crossed my road. On the positive side, I was able to prepare myself for lesson 2 and had fun doing it. I am thankful that we get the opportunity to do presentations because it prepares us for the future. I feel that ,by doing presentations, we get a head start from the rest of our generation.

At my mentorship, I was given the opportunity to undertake a project by myself. I had to inspect and come up with new ideas to improve the product. I am currently working on looking for other products in the market similar to the one I am working on, and find the way to make my product better. This is nerve racking and exciting because I am experiencing what it feels like to be a true entrepreneur.
