Blog 11: Holiday Project Update
1. It is important to consistently work on your senior project, whether it is break or we are in school. What did you do over the break with your senior project?
I, to start off, went to my mentorship and continued to work with his company. I also read many articles on entrepreneurship.com and read sections of the different entrepreneurship books I have. I also saw the show shark tanks which is a show of different entrepreneurs who go pitch their business to multibillionaire angel capitalist in search for help and potential funding. I went to different businesses and observed how there daily routines come about.
2. What was the most important thing you learned from what you did, and why? What was the source of what you learned?
I believe that everything is important because it is all part of the learning process. If it expands my knowledge and teaches me something I was not aware of, then it is important. But for the question, the most important thing was my mentorship because being able to get insight of how products are taken into the market is something many people do not have the opportunity to learn; it is also important because when I have my company I will know exactly how to contact the top retail stores. The source of what I learned was Kittrich Corporation.
3. If you were going to do a 10 question interview on questions related to answers for your EQ, who would you talk to and why?
I would talk to, other that my mentor, owners or entrepreneurs of top world class companies. I would talk to them because they obviously know how to best turn a start up into a viable company.
